After bringing my first child home from the hospital, I discovered that all of the hats I had carefully tucked away were too big for my newborn baby. Like many other new parents, I used the generic pink and blue striped hat provided by the hospital because it was the only one that fit. I wanted a cute, stylish hat that fit a newborn, that was warm and snug, and that had no scratchy interior seams or tags. I was surprised at how difficult that was to find.
When my second child was born, I experienced the newborn hat issue all over again. If I wanted a more sophisticated baby hat, maybe others did too. What if I came up with the perfect hat? I had already decided to find a new career that allowed me more flexibility and time with my family. I also have 15 years of experience in the apparel industry and expertise in garment quality, production, fit and baby safety issues. After months of research and product samples, I have designed a hat you and your baby will love.
